Girls Scouts Rocks

So dd and I had the best time together friday night. Just she and I went to a mom and daughter pajama party. We checked in and donated a bag of essentials for the local womans shelter (girls pj's, toothbrush and tooth paste, shampoo, outfit and undies). There was dancing :D, we did the stroll, the hokey pokey, the macarena and to many more to name. We painted eachother toes and decorated flip flops together. I did her hair for her in several styles, she never lets me mess with her hair so this was a special treat for me :D. I cant wait for the next mother daughter event!!! I find myself wishig more and more I could go to gs camp with her, maybe next year....

Yay!!! I am so excited about them finally opening up a chapter here. The group will meet a ladies' home nearby and it won't be huge. :) Both my girls get to be in it this year and we have our first meeting this Wed.! Sooo fun! :) I will get to share your enthusiasm! :)

So glad you're both enjoying Girl Scouts. DD's troop is small enough (and getting smaller) that I go on every camping trip with them to help, etc. It's a lot of work, but fun, too. :) (I prefer camping in a cabin..but we mostly camp in the hogans). She doesn't want to go away to camp by herself just yet, though. ;) Anyway...have a ball! I have found that volunteering with my dd's troop has been very rewarding.
